FRANK MORROW

Lead Vocalist, does what no one else does better in his portrayal of one of the most controversial American country singer-songwriter, and musician in the USA, Hank Williams Jr!  Frank is unique with his realistic and natural Hank Jr. looks, sound and stage presence.  He has performed on stage with Nantucket,  Boogie Chillins Band, The Embers,  Bill Lyerly Band, Harvey Dalton Arnold (of the Outlaws) and Clyde Maddox of Super Grit Cowboy Band.  Frank’s performance is so dynamic that folks wonder if that’s really “Bocephus” himself they are seeing and hearing!!

 

 

  SANDI “LIGHTNIN” MORROW

Sandi “Lightnin” Morrow, lead and back up vocalist/percussionist, with her high energy and extensive experience performing gets the party started and  keeps the crowd going with “All My Rowdy Friends”!!  Sandi’s vocal rage is so wide you never know what  tune this “Rowdy Friend” vocalist is gonna belt out!  It could be June Carter Cash, Loretta Lynn, Janis Joplin, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Patsy Cline, Linda Rhondstat, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar and maybe a little Tina Turner!  In addition, she wows the crowd with a Washboard, Tambourine, and Cowbell!

 

RAY  HOLMES

Lead & Rhythm guitarist Ray Holmes has been playing guitar since he was knee high to a grasshopper!!  His musical influences are Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Billy Gibbons, just to name a few.  Ray has performed with numerous bands, such as I.C.U., Blue Steel, Brouha, Flashback and Avalanche. While performing with Avalanche, he opened for The Little River Band, Bucky Covington, Charlie Daniels and Lynard Skynyrd.  “Rock N Ray”/ “Animal” brings to “All My Rowdy Friends” hot rock n roll rhythms and on stage personality to boot, adding to this high energy band!

 

 

 

STEVE COX

Steve Cox  a die hard Ludwig man from Goldsboro, NC brings to “All My Rowdy Friends” a 70’s hard driving rock solid drumming style with Nashville dynamics and finesse!  Steve’s many years of drumming include regional full time touring experiences with The Midnight Express Band in the 90’s of which he was the original and long time drummer.  Opening for Country greats such as Alan Jackson, Davis Alan Coe, Alabama, Conway Twitty, Delbert McClinton, Patty Loveless, Garth Brooks, Ronnie Milsap, Gene Watson, Steve Wariner, Firehouse, Exile, Billy Joel Royal, John Anderson, and many others confirms Steve is no stranger to what it takes to be a spot on drummer!  Steve also played in several local bands such as modern rock/classic rock band, Avalanche and country classic rock Kick 40 as well as top 40 band East 40.  Steve enjoys performing and entertaining the audience with his hard rocking style!

 

MICHAEL KINZIE

Michael Kinzie, aka “13” from Greenville, NC brings to the band over four decades of multi-instrumental experience.  Best known for his 39 years with The Super Grit Cowboy Band, “13” plays a multitude of instruments to bring out even more of the authentic sound to “All My Rowdy Friends”!   In addition to being a Viet Nam Veteran, Michael is a

SCOTT B. VANCEL

Scott Vancel, raised in Eastern Tennessee is no stranger to Country Music!  Playing guitar at age 16, until joining the Air Force for a worldly education, his service finally landed him at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC.  Continuing his music, his bass playing took a Rock & Roll turn while performing with various local bands such as I.C.U, Equinox, and Solid Ground. Scott’s country roots and the rockin twist, what better way to land as the bassist in “All My Rowdy Friends”thumpin out the bass licks needed for “Rockin Randall Hank” tunes!

 

 

 

 

 

CHRISTOPHER ALLEN WILLIAMS

Lead & Rhythm guitarist~Chris Williams started playing guitar at age 12 in the style of Chet Atkins with the influence of a close friend’s dad. Many influences captivatied Chris such as Eric Clapton, Roy Nichols and Waylon Jennings.  These influences are VERY evident in his guitar pickin!  He formed his first band, Pegasus at age 16, and then Southern Breed,  playing Country and Southern Rock.  Thru the years, Chris has performed with various bands including Sixteen Penny and has opened for National Acts such as Billy Joel Royal, Exile, Daryle Singletary, T. Graham Brown, Doug Stone, Ricochet and Marshall Tucker.  Chris’s history of Outlaw County brings him to “All My Rowdy Friends” with the expertise required for the “Bocephus style” of Outlaw Country!
